Rakurs specialists has finished a project of design and manufacturing of control system for generating unit No.4 of Ust-Kamenogorsk HPP, AES Company.
The System has undergone field tests and has been put into operation.
The Control System of Rakurs production is based on up-to-date principles of control systems integration, using modern software and hardware microprocessor facilities.
The Control System for generating unit No.4 of Ust-Kamenogorsk HPP is used for stabilization of predetermined conditions of technological process, finding and prevention of emergency on technological junctions, etc.
The Control System realises the following functions:
· automatic start of hydroelectric unit in idle running mode, put into subsynchronous rotary axis speed and stabilisation of rotation frequency in idle running mode;
· synchronisation of hydroelectric unit while network connection,
· control of hydroelectric unit load;
· switching of unit from synchronous compensator mode to generating mode and back;
· normal stop of hydroelectric unit;
· emergency automatic stop of hydroelectric unit;
· hydromechanical protection of unit;
· electrical protection of generator;
· warning and alarm,
· generator temperature control;
· control of electrical parameters;
· dispatch control;
· control of auxiliary equipment.
Control System of generating unit for Ust-Kamenogorsk HPP is made as multilevel distributed automated system.
