Rakurs-engineering has completed development of algorithm of gate-blade relationship automated adjustment of Kaplan turbines. Such turbine control is performed by matched setting of hydro turbine two regulating bodies position (distributor and impulse wheel blades) basing on combinatorial characteristics determined by a plant – turbine manufacturer. The main disadvantage of the present method of impulse wheel blades angle determination is practical impossibility of guaranteed accuracy. It’s explained by lack of fit of pressure measurements methods on hydraulic stand and in natural experiment.
Development and improvement of technological complicated algorithms of power industry objects control is one of the key tasks of the company innovative development and necessary condition of leading positions keeping.
Designed by Rakurs-engineering control algorithm allow increase of turbine power generation by 0,8 – 1% due to such current integral characteristics as electric power. Power measurements on a stand and in nature experiment are completely identical and data of generator coefficient of efficiency are highly reliable.
There has been developed a device using the mentioned algorithm and peculiarities of Kaplan turbines power characteristics. It can be used with a regulator of any modification under condition of using of pressure sensor electric signal. The device has been designed basing on programmable logic controller.
The method and the device have been patented.
