Hydro unit automated control system supplied by Rakurs Group has been commissioned at Novosibirskaya HPP after overhaul of hydro unit No. 1 and replacement of Kaplan turbine to a new one. The system has been based on Siemens industrial controllers series SIMATIC S7-400.

On November 15 Rakurs Group represented by Deputy General Manager Sergey Filippov took part in Annual Partner Meeting of Siemens Sector of Industry. Main year results which can be called surely positive were resumed at the meeting.

On August 30-31 an audit of Quality Management System was held in Rakurs Group. QMS conformance with ISO9001 Standard requirements is annually checked up during inspection audits to be required condition of issued certificates terms prolongation.
Auditors of certification body have been performing permanent supervision of Rakurs Group Quality Management System functioning. The company team has been continuing working in this direction realizing QMS and whole organization development to be continuing process

In August software and hardware complex of electric part of regulating system for К-1,1-1,6 steam turbine installation has been shipped to a new OEM-customer – Comtec-Energoservice.
Electric part of regulating and protecting system is a serial innovative product of Rakurs-engineering being a part of Rakurs Group and acting in the territory of Neudorf Special Economic Zone.

On August 2, 2012 Rakurs-engineering was officially visited by the delegation of Committee for China international trade assistance from Zhejiang province headed by vice-chairman Mr. Su Shan. The visit was organized within the bounds of SEZ presentation for acquaintance with projects of the most successful residents.

On July 25 delegation including special representative of the USA State Secretary on global inter-governmental cooperation Mrs. Reta Joe Lewis and representatives of the USA General Consulate in St. Petersburg visited Rakurs-engineering for acquaintance with projects of the most successful residents of the Neudorf Special Economic Zone. The visit was organized within the bounds of SEZ project presentation.
